Taking the Final Test

Philippians 3:13-14 (NASB)
"Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

I was talking with my Muslim co-worker the other day. He was talking about the different tests that we take in our lives for our education, driver's license, etc. He also mentioned that many people do not prepare for the greatest test. That is, the test for life. Will we pass the test when we see Jesus our judge? Or will we fail? In Philippians 3:13-14, Paul talks about striving for the ultimate prize in Christ Jesus. As Christians, we must run this Christian race with diligence. We must not get sloppy in our profession of faith. When we do, we need to get back on the right road. If you don't know Christ, then you must be saved. Only then will you be a contestant in this great race of life. How will you finish this race? With the Lord's strength as a champion!
